You can use the resources listed below to do research, take notes, and complete classroom tasks. 

The Why Files gives you the science behind what you want to know. Science and Social Studies are friends, so don't be afraid to dive in!

Practice your research skills using Google Arts and Culture. Explore topics using different types of sources. As you research, consider what makes these sources reliable. 

The Library of Congress is one of the most comprehensive online research tools that you can use for historical documents including both primary and secondary sources in many formats.

GeorgiaInfo is your go-to source for general information about the state of Georgia. Play trivia, look at maps, explore important places, and read primary documents about events in Georgia's past. 

Georgia Historic Newspapers is a creation of the Digital Library of Georgia. This website allows you to browse historic newspaper articles from various places in the state of Georgia. Keep checking back for new additions. 

ReadWriteThink has lots of idea mapping resources that you can use to help you organize ideas. Use this for writing essays or studying classroom content. These are all about making connections.

Digital Library of Georgia is a wonderful collective of primary and secondary documents relating to the history of the state of Georgia. USE THIS SOURCE! It will be a valuable tool in your toolbox!

Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) is another Georgia-specific resource that will help you throughout this course. If you paid close attention, you might have noticed other GPB links throughout this website.

Active Classroom is an online platform that offers extra lessons with readings, quizzes, and writing assignments on course content. From time to time, I will assign you work to complete in Active Classroom so that you can get more comfortable with the content.

The New Georgia Encyclopedia is a fantastic resource for information on everything Georgia-related. If you are interested in knowing more about something that we cover in class, but just want to read a good summary, this is the resource for you.
